These boys are such brilliant characters and warm your heart so much I just love to hear them chat away. Sam is looking beautiful and is due her new baby in two weeks time so I cant wait to meet him :))

Vicky Darrell and Oliver came to our studio just before Christmas to have a baby bump shoot. Vicky was absolutely blooming and we had a lovely session as it was the last time Oliver would be an only child. It was great to see the lovely Lily back in the studio today. She is such a gorgeous little girl with the biggest blue eyes youve ever seen. As usual she was as good as gold while mummy and daddy looked at their pictures. Katie had been given a voucher for CK Photography as a gift when she had the beautiful Isobella and recently they came along to the studio. She is so clever and her favourite toy is her mummy's purse, she likes the plastic cards already lol
She is also a mobile phone girl and the age of 8 months has things sussed already, I'm sure by the time shes toddling we will have a lovely range of shoes :)
Saying all that she has the most gorgeous baby face that could melt any ones heart, girl you got it all figured out and don't even know it yet

Poppy, Stacey and Andrew with babys first year

Stacey and Andrew booked a 'babys first year' package with us and how much fun it was watching poppy grow. She was the most adorable baby with the most doting parents, and so strong for 9 weeks old. Then back she came and was getteing very clever and brought her grandad and aunts on this occasion :)Then came her first birthday which happened to coinside with the poppy season so with a name like Poppy a trip into the fields opposite was a must. On her last visit she was walking and saying words and even trying to dance haha
BUT the also brought with her baby number two in mummys tummy so we had to photograph mums tummy and she is blooming

New BBC series, Renewal of Vows, Courtyard Bridals

Recently I was delighted to be contacted by the BBC to help with a new T.V programme. The presenter Alex who has the show 'The hotel inspector' is in the process of making a new programme about local family businesses they and were filming a business here in Kettering 'Courtyard Bridals' who specialise in wedding dresses. Part of the show involved 9 couples renewing their wedding vows at Toller Church followed by a wedding fayre. Many local businesses from the wedding trade were there all looking great.
Whilst setting up I was called upon to do a number of other photographic jobs which left my CK Photography stand a bit worse for wear but I was in my element photographing all the beautiful brides getting ready, then the ceremony where the Revd Helen Carr did a fabulous job of the service, what a great character she is, then grab a few shots afterwards. Photographing 9 brides and their groom isn't the easiest task whilst trying to dodge the filming but what great fun it was.
So a huge thankyou to the film crew who were all brilliant and great fun plus all of the participants in the event, as usual I took hundreds of pictures and deciding what to post here is a challenge so I have decided on a few that got the feel of the day

Large Family Portrait - Gerry and his Children

Everyone who knows me will be aware that I love to dance, anytime anywhere haha. Well on a Thursday night I go and learn ceroc dancing which is a type of modern Jive. Its great fun and it keeps you fit! That is where I first met Gerry and a few of his daughters they are all such great people and fun to be with. Gerry adores his family and practically lives for his kids (like all children they are probably unaware of the love of a parent)
After discovering that the mad dancing maccum was a photographer, Gerry asked if I would photograph his family and along they all came to the studio it was a great session and we took LOTS of pictures. Here are a few of my favourites.

Carly is a regular visitor with us here at CK Photography and its great to see how the children are growing. Cora was just a tiny baby last time they were here and now shes older oh how the children have become great pals.
Carly has become such an efficient and organised mum its amazing, I was most impressed at how she came into the studio with the children, knew exactly what she wanted and managed to order an album and choose 40 pictures within half an hour.....Brilliant, well done Carly I have a little surprise for you as gift when you come to collect :)

Photography Makeover Session - Danielles 16th Birthday

About 16 years ago I was pregnant and at the same time so was Suzanne Bowen. We both had baby girls and would meet for coffee and chats. Times change as they do and I moved away from my old house and didnt see the family for a long time so it was great when Suzanne booked Danielle into the studio for a makeover birthday treat. Wow how she has grown haha.
Danielle was naturally beautiful anyway but we had fun with makeup and clothes changes anyway. After Teacia Ziegler from making faces had applied her makeup and gave her a few tips it was time for some fun shooting, Danielle quickly settled and we had fun shooting pictures it was so hard to stop lol. We wondered if we would catch any shots with him actually in the pictures, but as usual we got loads he is so gorgeous lol. They were expecting just a few but ended up with an album.....again.... bless, but who could resist them blue eyes :) x

The Wedding of Simon and Claire, Dunchurch Park

Claire and Simon were married on the 27th of December at Dunchurch park in Rugby.
A very beautiful location for a beautiful couple. The setting was perfect with a few inches of snow completeing the finishing touch to the Christmas theme.

With the hustle and bustle of the bridesmaids and the shaking of the groom and best man every thing ran perfectly and Claire and Simon wer happily married with a gorgeous service.

We braved the elements for some festive photographs then snuggled in front of an open fire after finishing a very hearty meal and gorgeous dessert (theres always room for dessert)

Before the first dance we had a visit from a Michael Jackson look alike, a very suprised Simon enjoyed that and was even dragged up for a dance, well done Simon :)

And so the partying went on and a great day was had by all..............

I love to do these sort of pictures, ok they arent jumping around and arent able to sit on the floor but what great charac...ters and I feel it is soo special.
A photograph with your parents and siblings is soooo importantl I think you should all go out there and find someone to get a photograph of your family...........its nearly Christmas :)

A few weeks ago CK Photography and Treacia Ziegler from 'me time' donated a makeover to the Crazy Hats breast cancer appeal for our friend Donna Palombi. Emma, Katie and Richard bought their grandparents a CK Photography voucher for Christmas. Recently they all popped along with Lilly too and we had fun taking some pictures :) Every one did so well and grandad even managed to stand for a short while without his crutches, well done grandad :)

Noah aged nearly 3 months

Noah is nearly 3 months now and came for his first session with us. He is so gorgeous. Noah is a quiet, gentle baby and its a great feeling when you get a smile from him :)
